Sample State and Local Impacts Pres Biden.jpg

Check out the Sample Document of the State and Local Impacts of President Biden's Executive Order on Policing Reform Chart.

It is important to emphasize that this executive order mostly applies to federal law enforcement agencies. However, there are impacts on state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies; especially if they are involved in a task force with a federal law enforcement agency like the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) focused on drug trafficking, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) focused on gun and ammunitions trafficking, etc.

This information is imperative since there are over 1,100 joint task forces in the U.S., which include thousands of sheriff’s deputies, police officers, and state troopers cross-deputized as federal agents who work with federal officers.
